Hi! I’m Katie — lifelong animal lover, small-town girl, and proud dachshund enthusiast. I grew up loving anything with four legs, but my heart really belonged to the farm. Some of my favorite memories are visiting my grandparents’ farm and bottle-feeding baby goats (yes, I was that kid).

Fast-forward to adult life, and that dream turned into a little hobby farm of my own, right outside of town on five beautiful acres that we call home. In 2021, we brought home our first miniature long-haired dachshund, Dolly… and let’s just say things escalated quickly.

Then came Dale in 2022, another girl joined the crew, and before we knew it, Hairy Wieners was born.

We breed for pet homes only, and we take that seriously. Our dogs aren’t kennel dogs — they’re family. They’re raised with love, attention, and plenty of personality. Our goal is simple: happy, healthy, confident puppies with big attitudes, tiny legs, and a whole lot of hair!
